About the race
As part of the Dawlish Triathlon, we are offering you a chance to do a 3000m, 1500m or 750m sea swim at Dawlish Warren. This event takes place in a stunning location and provides a great opportunity for open water swimmers of various levels.
Participants will receive superb safety cover from the Teignmouth Beach Surf Life Saving Club, medals for all finishers, and access to podium presentations and prizes. After the swim, a range of gels and snacks will be available to help you recover.

We ask all swimmers to park in the car park before the tunnel & walk through to Dawlish Warren.

The area offers a mix of traditional seaside guesthouses, independent inns, and holiday parks situated near the Warren. For those preferring proximity to the water, seafront apartments in Dawlish or camping sites on the spit provide direct access to the coastal paths. Expect to pay between £90 and £180 per night for a standard double room during the September season, with prices adjusting based on the distance from the beach.
